We are looking to appoint an experienced HLTA, to the John Locke Academy family. John Locke Academy is almost 3 years old. We currently have early years and Key Stage 1 pupils. We have quickly become a popular school and were oversubscribed for Reception in September 2016.

Hours: 35 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £18,610 - £20,267 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting, Scale 5
Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex
Work Pattern: Core Hours 8.00am - 4.00pm
Start Date: April 2017 or as soon after

The post involves planning, delivering and assessing learning to whole classes during teachers’ PPA time and occasionally covering for short term absence. There will also be occasions when the post holder will work under the direction of a class teacher to support quality first teaching.
