Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Hatcham College, part of Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to make a real impact on students’ learning and development.

As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering planned lessons, and working with small groups or individual students to ensure they reach their full potential. You will also assist with classroom management, lesson planning, and intervention strategies, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

We are looking for someone with an HLTA qualification or equivalent experience, strong classroom support skills, and the ability to lead lessons when required. A passion for student progress and inclusion is essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
