Barnsole Primary School is a 3 form entry school serving the community in Gillingham. We take children from 2 years old in our nursery right through to Year 6 where they leave ready for their next adventure. Barnsole Primary Academy is part of the Maritime Academy Trust, an innovative partnership  of schools in Greenwich, Kent, Bexley & Medway. Our academies transform through collaboration and an entrepreneurial curriculum which equips children with life skills.

We are looking to recruit an experienced  HLTA who has the level 4 HLTA status,  to join our friendly staff team.  If you are an aspiring Primary teacher this may be the perfect opportunity for you! 

You will be required to:- 

• Provide whole class support

• Cover timetabled class lessons per week

• Plan & deliver focused intervention and booster sessions

Person Specification:

• Experienced & qualified HLTA – Higher Level Teaching Assistant

• Must have previously covered whole lessons

• Literacy & numeracy intervention experience needed

• At least GCSE grade C in English, Maths & Science
