The Role
The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day work and management under the direction of the class teacher and the safety and welfare of the pupils. You will work to support children in their education and pastorally. Working in Key Stage (KS1) as part of the primary team you must have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are
• Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.
• Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 15:30 Mon-Fri.
• Have experience of the national curriculum, phonics, and an educational setting.
• Can provide observation, assessment and be able to feedback to Class Teacher.
• Be able to adapt to different routines daily.
• Must have a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant Level 4
