We are looking for an experienced HLTA to join our School.

Avanti Court Primary School is a faith designated (Hindu) state school. Staff and students at the school do not originate from any specific faith background and applications are welcome from practitioners of any faith and from those of none. What will you do?

• Deliver and support pupils learning in the most effective way.
• Contribute effectively to teachers planning and preparation of lessons.
• Administer and invigilate exams/tests.
• Use ICT effectively to support learning activities and develop pupils’ competence and independence in its use.

What are we looking for?

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Experience of working with children with additional learning needs.
• Specialist training in relevant learning strategies in appropriate curriculum or learning area
• An ability to understand the principles of child development and learning processes and in particular barriers to learning
