We are looking for a HLTA to assist in the delivery of the curriculum for Primary SEN students who may need a bit of extra help to achieve. The primary focus of the role will be the co-ordination and delivery of teaching to SEN children in Reception and KS1.
The ideal candidate will have experience with working with students with SEND with a proven track record of success. They will provide support for students, in and out of the classroom but largely be responsible for a small group of SEN students.
You will support staff, students and the academy policies and strategies. You will also provide support for students’ welfare and support the inclusion of students in all aspects of Academy life.

Bridgwater College Academy is the only all-through mainstream Academy in Somerset and opened in 2012. Student numbers are divided equally between Primary and Secondary phases; we also have a nursery provision too. The Academy was the first sponsored Academy within the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust, which now hosts seven Academies and is itself set to continue to expand in the future.
