Hatfield Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our motivated, supportive team on a fixed-term basis. We are looking for somebody with commitment, energy and expertise to work closely with staff to ensure that the children achieve their very best.


Our ideal candidate has:

  • A drive to make a real difference to children's lives
  • Recent, relevant and successful experience in a primary school setting
  • A HLTA qualification or equivalent
  • An interest in fostering an inclusive ethos in your work 
  • A wish to work in an energetic and passionate team.


In this role you will:

  • Lead the learning for classes or groups of children following teacher’s planning and resourcing
  • Ensure pupil’s needs are catered for in lessons
  • Provide detailed verbal and written feedback on lesson content, pupil responses to learning activities and pupil behaviour, to teachers and pupils
  • Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs.
