This is an exciting opportunity to join the Learning Support Team at Frimley Church of England Junior School. We are seeking a proactive individual to provide an excellent level of support to both staff and students in the school.

The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, hard working with a sense of fun, and have high expectations of children in the Key Stage 2 setting. They will enjoy both supporting and celebrating the achievement of pupils as they strive to show the attributes of a Frimley Learner.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can follow and adapt others’ planning while teaching
  • Can cover classes for planned absences
  • Can cover classes in emergency situations, eg in the case of staff sickness
  • Can cover a strand of PPA on a weekly basis
  • Currently holds Maths and English GCSEs Grade C or equivalent


HTLA’s encourage learning as part of a year group team, working under the direct supervision of both the class teacher and year leader. The hours will include supervision on the playground.

Working Pattern: 08.30 - 15.30 five days a week - 32.5 hours in total, including a half hour lunch break, term time only.
