We are a warm, happy school with an enthusiastic and dedicated staff, well-behaved children and a very supportive leadership team. We are situated close to the City of London and Canary Wharf in the vibrant, thriving community of Wapping and we have close links to a local church.

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has a clear understanding of how to achieve high-quality outcomes for all children. We are particularly looking for someone who has a real enthusiasm for teaching and learning and sharing best practice to develop the skills of their colleagues. You should be a proactive, professional practitioner, passionate about inclusion and on-going professional development.

About St Peter's London Docks CofE Primary School

Our aim is to give every child the opportunity to achieve their full potential through a broad and balanced curriculum that develops their skills, knowledge and positive attitudes. The Government’s National Curriculum provides the basis, but not the limits, for this work.

The friendly, skilled staff at St. Peter’s is a strong feature of the school and work very closely together as an effective team. We currently have 39 members of staff, including 13 teachers, 20 non teaching staff, a caretaker and 5 members of our administration team. We pride ourselves on having strong professional relationships and have a clear understanding of how to provide the best learning opportunities for our children.
