The successful candidate will work as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, covering PPA of class teachers. This is a rewarding role where you will work collaboratively with teaching staff to assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and management of the class. You will be required to have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of individual children, and excellent interpersonal skills. Previous experience of working as a HLTA within a primary setting is essential.
The position is on a part-time basis (18 hours per week, term-time only + 5 INSET days), working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am to 12.00pm, and 1.00pm to 3.30pm.

Horbury Primary Academy is a mixed nursery, infant and junior academy, situated on the outskirts of Wakefield.
