Job overview

Highfield Prep and Pre-School, part of the Harrogate Ladies’ College family of schools, is looking to appoint a Director of Teaching and Learning/Class Teacher as a new role in the management team from September 2021.

The main purpose of the Teaching and Learning role is to monitor, evaluate and develop the curriculum, the teaching, the reporting and recording procedures and the assessment practices of the school in order to drive academic standards in Highfield.

For further information, please refer to the job description and person specification for the role.

Applications are of course welcome from existing Highfield members of staff.  Please note that if an internal appointment is made for the Director of Teaching and Learning role, then we will need to appoint a full-time Class Teacher role in Highfield Prep School without the Director of Teaching and Learning focus.   Applications are therefore welcome for both options.

Closing date:   9.00am, Monday 19 April 2021

Interviews:       Week commencing 26 April 2021

To apply:

By the School’s application form which is available on the Vacancies page of our website at: www.hlc.org.uk

OR by request from:   recruitment@hlc.org.uk
