As a Hindustani Music Specialist, you are expected to have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, delivering one or two of the following instruments (Tabla, Sitar and/or the Sarod) to an advanced level.

A basic understanding of western music notation is preferable in order to deliver the current music syllabus in Grades: 6, 7 & 8.

The successful applicant will be expected to: •Form instrumental ensembles. •Lead the current Hindustani choir. •Deliver the current music syllabus with confidence. •Teach one on one and group lessons. •Prepare students annually for external examinations.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must be a first-rate practitioner, who holds a relevant music qualification in the field of Hindustani music with a proven track record of success.
