Pathways World School, Aravali has a first-class tradition for Music making.  The high quality of teaching and learning within the Music Department are central parts to the ongoing success of the School that showcase students' talent and development through their academic achievements and stage of performances. As a Hindustani Music Specialist, you are expected to have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, delivering one or two of the following instruments (Tabla, Sitar and/or the Sarod) to an advanced level.

A basic understanding of western music notation is preferable in order to deliver the current music syllabus in Grades: 6, 7 & 8.

The successful applicant will be expected to: •Form instrumental ensembles. •Lead the current Hindustani choir. •Deliver the current music syllabus with confidence. •Teach one on one and group lessons. •Prepare students annually for external examinations.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must be a first-rate practitioner, who holds a relevant music qualification in the field of Hindustani music with a proven track record of success.

A flexible attitude is crucial for this role to maintain a continuous development and progress between academics and events.
