We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well qualified and ambitious Teacher of History (0.6) and PSHE (0.4) to work in this inspiring school. The Humanities Department has a very strong reputation with excellent exam results at Common Entrance and Scholarship level. The Teacher of History and PSHE will be expected to work closely with the Head of Humanities and present a positive and proactive role model for pupils.

Detail: There are currently two full time teachers in the Humanities department. History is currently taught as single subject from Years 5-8 with the pupils taught in mixed ability groups. PHSE is taught in mixed ability groups from Year 3. It is essential that the post holder can teach History up to Year 8.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding yet flexible and adaptable teacher who enjoys working with children, seeing them thrive and preparing them academically and holistically for the next stage in their education and life journey. This position would suit an experienced Teacher or an NQT.
