On behalf of the Academy Committee, we are seeking an inspirational, highly motivated and innovative Teacher of History to join our school and Humanities Faculty at Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School within The Romero Catholic Academy. History is currently the most popular option chosen by our students at GCSE. We believe that learning does not solely occur in the classroom and have organised many successful trips overseas to support our GCSE teaching but also to bring History to life.
Cardinal Wiseman is an 11-18 school in the north-east of Coventry which is on a journey of improvement. The school’s GCSE results in summer 2017 history had a pass rate of 80% A*-C and at A-Level we achieved 100% A*-B. This posts is instrumental in driving improvement in the school to enable even more students to achieve their full potential.
