Job overview
Hovingham Primary is a large, diverse school in the heart of Harehills serving a vibrant community.
We require an experienced HLTA to join our team. It is a varied and interesting role covering a wide range of duties from supporting learning and teaching, carrying out interventions to address gaps in learning, managing behaviour together with carrying out general class admin.
With a general understanding of the curriculum, child development and learning, you’ll support children to make good progress. Furthermore, you’ll be expected to collaborate with a range of colleagues to meet the specific needs of individual children. The ability to work constructively as part of a team as well as working independently is essential.
Finally, we would like someone to join Team Hovingham who is passionate about their work and thrives on children achieving their best.
