Our purpose, our motivation is simple ‘ to give our children the best experiences we can’ and we are now looking for a HLTA to join us on a fixed term contract for 1 year.  

We are set in the developing inner-city community of Harehills, we're lucky enough to serve the children that make Leeds a diverse metropolis of language and culture, with over 41 languages spoken, 759 NOR and a staff team of 100, we are not your ordinary school, which is why we are looking for the extraordinary.

The HLTA role is varied and interesting covering a wide range of duties from supporting learning and teaching, carrying out interventions to address gaps in learning, managing behaviour together with carrying out general class admin. 

With a general understanding of the curriculum, child development and learning, you’ll support children to make good progress. Furthermore, you’ll be expected to collaborate with a range of colleagues to meet the specific needs of individual children. The ability to work constructively as part of a team as well as working independently is essential. 

This role would suit anyone wishing to further their career and become a teacher as it will give you hands on experience towards your goal.
