Job overview

The role

• Looking for a HLTA who will be able to aid teaching as well as lead the learning of some lessons.

• Do Intervention work with school and children by giving insight to need of child including classroom support.

• Be able to work on a 1:1 and group work basis.

• No lesson Planning needed for this role.

• While we at ABC Teachers are looking for a teaching assistant in the Tamworth area however ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a variety of roles across the midlands.

Requirements

To be considered for a Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Be able to have a strong influence on classroom learning and be able to give assured feedback on pupil’s progress.

• Be able to lead, but also be able to take instructions from permanent teaching staff.

• A level 4 Qualification would is needed for this role, as well as relevant experience in being a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

• Will also need to be able to gain references from the last two years of employment.

• As well as having a DBS registered with the update service or be able to obtain one.
