Homeroom Teacher

The YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College (YHKCC) is a Direct Subsidy Scheme Secondary School for stu-dents aged 11-18, and the San Wui Commercial Society YMCA of Hong Kong Christian School (SWYHKCS) is a private primary school established in September 2013 for students aged 6-11. Both schools aim to encour-age students to care for others, act with integrity, and enjoy learning in a friendly, supportive environ-ment based on Christian values.

Applications are invited from caring, qualified and experienced teachers who are supportive of the Vision, Mission and Christian ethos of the schools. The schools are looking for good team players with a proven track record and a willingness to contribute to the development of the sub-ject/department and promote the Christian faith. Applicants for the YHKCC must be able to teach up to IGCSE / GCE ‘A’ level and/or the HKDSE curriculum in the following subjects:

PRIMARY SCHOOL:
HOMEROOM TEACHER

• Possess a Bachelor of Education, PGDE/PGCE
• Minimum 2 years related working experience in Primary education
• Possess experiences in teaching British National Curriculum is an advantage
• Fluent English Speaker
