Are you an experienced and compassionate practitioner who thrives on every day being different and who wants to make a difference to children and young people with medical conditions undergoing hospital treatment?


We require an experienced practitioner to manage and teach in the classroom, based in Yeovil District Hospital.


We are looking for someone who

  • Is an outstanding practitioner with good knowledge of the national curriculum at all key Stages
  • Is committed to raising aspirations and outcomes for every pupil.
  • Has experience of supporting pupils with Social, Emotional Mental Health and / or Medical needs 
  • Understands the issues facing pupils who are unable to access mainstream education as a result of ongoing hospital treatment or mental health difficulties
  • Is able to respond flexibly to the needs of young people who are unwell.
