House Matron

Part Time: 20 Hours per week (5 days, Mon-Fri)

Working as part of the House team you will play an integral role in ensuring we deliver an outstanding level of pastoral care and supervision to our boarders.

This role involves overseeing the day to day tidiness and upkeep of the House, some assistance with hospitality for parents & pupils and providing some administrative support for the Housemaster/Housemistress. 

However, the key focus of this role is the pastoral care you will provide to our boarders.

You will;

· have experience of working with young people in this age group

· be warm, caring and nurturing 

· have outstanding interactive skills with young people and their families alike 

· you will have a passion for supporting young people, ensuring that they are happy, feel secure and are motivated; supervising them whilst developing and promoting their independence  

· you will be an excellent listener  

· have a flexible, can-do approach, as well as being highly organised with sound administration skills
