Applications are invited for the post of part time Housekeeping Porter at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. RMS is an independent, day and boarding school with a supportive and nurturing ethos. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with keen students and stunning surroundings.
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, this is an important role in supporting a large Housekeeping team of approximately 25 members of staff, working on an extensive site. The post-holder will provide essential assistance with tasks involving manual handling and working at height in order for the team to successfully deliver high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the School.
In addition to the cleaning remit, the Housekeeping Manager is also responsible for the organisation of replacement flooring, blinds and soft furnishings so support is required in the delivery of these aspects of work too.
The role is Monday to Friday, 6.00am until 10.00am for 52 weeks per annum.

The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18.
