Cambridge Centre for Sixth Form Studies is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in the centre of Cambridge. It is an independent school with the option of boarding or day attendance. There are approximately 144 learners at the college, between the ages of 15 and 21.
Cambridge Centre for Sixth Form Studies was founded in 1981, becoming a charitable trust overseen by a trustee board in 2001.

Cambridge Centre for Sixth Form Studies has high expectations for its students and aims for all its learners to leave the college having achieved great academic performance and personal development. Staff value the development and progress of every one of their students.
The college makes use of the CCSS system, a pastoral system that gives each student a personal tutor to support their progress. Always encouraging clear communication between staff, students and parents, the college supports academic success alongside extra-curricular activities.

Results in public examinations are good and extra-curricular achievements are strong. Good academic achievement is supported by good teaching. Inspectors enjoyed meeting students who were benefiting from the college’s distinctive aim of providing an environment for its students which enables them to develop a sense of responsibility and independence.”
