St John Paul II Multi Academy is a growing multi academy currently across 6 sites in North Birmingham; our Directors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and resourceful HR Officer to work within the Central Team of the St John Paul II Multi Academy.


The successful post holder will be part of a new Finance and HR Central team which will service the MAC. The JPIIMA currently comprises Bishop Walsh Catholic School, Holy Cross Catholic Primary School, St Nicholas Catholic Primary School, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, SS Mary & John Catholic Primary School and SS Peter & Paul Catholic Primary School.


The successful applicant will be able to operate, maintain and develop SJPIIMAC  HR procedures and systems, in co-operation with the HR and Operations Manager


Main Duties / Responsibilities:

HR

To maintain and administer the HR and payroll system in a timely manner in accordance with the payroll schedule

To administer all pension schemes operated by the MAC

To liaise with Operations Manager regarding the maintain of HR files

To liaise with the Operations Manager regarding the SCR, workforce census and all HR related statutory returns.

To answer all payroll queries across the schools within the MAC

To produce the P11D’s across the MAC annually

Administer all recruitment campaigns across the MAC

ADMINISTRATION

Assist the operations manager in the administration of the admission process across all schools within the MAC

Provide administrative support to all schools within the MAC and cover for individual schools as directed by the Operations Manager

To support the Operations Manager in the marketing and PR of the MAC 

Undertake attendance work as required, directed by the Operations Manager

General school administration for the MAC and all schools within the MAC

Attend relevant meetings and carry out any other relevant HR and administration tasks as directed by the Operations Manager or Chief Operating Officer.

RESOURCES

Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. MS Office, Internet, Email, SIMS, HR Systems)

Provide advice and guidance to managers, staff, colleagues and others

Ensure the MAC policies and procedures are being adhered to, in particular as it applies to the HR and administration area

Ensure all HR administration and general office duties are carried out professionally and accurately across all schools within the MAC

Any other task as commensurate with the grade


The post holder must be able to demonstrate their suitability for working with children and have the ability to converse with/advise staff and members of the public at ease in accurate spoken English and must hold a full clean driving licence.
