We are seeking to appoint to the role of HR Administrator on a fixed term basis.

You will need to flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, whilst ensuring that you deliver a professional and efficient administrative support service to the HR Team, academy staff and a range of other colleagues (both internal and external). The role will be busy and varied with frequent tight deadlines and lots of interaction with staff and various other stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills will therefore be essential, as will your ability to use your initiative to recognise when to escalate issues to senior colleagues.

The administrative aspects of the role will require well developed administrative and organisational skills, including maintaining filing systems and databases, collecting and collating information as well as operating independently with respect to your individual roles and responsibilities, including supporting recruitment and selection, various vetting responsibilities, payroll administration, and preparing contractual documentation. Your work will also need to be tactful and discreet, as well as being mindful of confidentiality at all times. The role involves the use of a wide range of systems and databases so you will also need competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, with other software packages being desirable. You will also have some contact with students.
