Job overview

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and highly capable HR Administrator to join our United Teaching and Paddington Academy team providing outstanding HR and business support to support the delivery of the United Teaching Teacher Training Programme and school operations.

As HR Administrator you will play a part in creating better futures for young people by supporting the United Teaching Team in the recruitment and on boarding of trainees onto our OFSTED outstanding teacher training programme. You will also provide HR support to the team at Paddington Academy.

The successful candidate will be passionate about education, resilient, solution focused and have excellent interpersonal skills. Experienced in administration, you will be a talented administrator with an instinct for customer service. Organised and efficient, you will place a high value on process and attention to detail. Agile and adaptable, you will enjoy providing a high-quality service and will be a champion of continuous improvement.

Working as part of a small professional team, this is a role which offers a real opportunity to make an impact. In return, we offer excellent benefits and a supportive, friendly, and professional work environment.

Experience of school or higher education HR operations is preferred but not essential as training and guidance will be provided.

We offer a strong culture of professional development, a fantastic business support team, and the opportunity to be part of an outstanding school that is community driven and takes pride in our environment.

The role offers some flexible hybrid working alongside other group benefits.

Why choose us?

We are part of United Learning, a large, and growing group aiming to offer a life-changing education to children and young people across England.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits, and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme. It's an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’.

We are working hard to become a more diverse organisation – which is key to our commitment to bringing out the best in everyone. We welcome applications from everyone committed to this ethos and would particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates, who are currently under-represented in the Group as a whole. We always appoint on merit. We are open to discussing flexible working options.
