Job overview

The role encompasses supporting employee engagement, helping to develop people policy and practice, pay and benefits, recruitment and talent management. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to work with leaders to find proactive solutions for your schools, working with a high level of integrity and accuracy. You will be authentic, credible and someone who has a passion for new ways of thinking, challenging the schools and teams you support to get the best from their people and for students.


The successful candidate will have:

  • At least CIPD Level 5
  • Previous experience in an HR partnering role, ideally in the Education sector
  • Previous experience of using reporting tools in HRIS (ideally SIMS) including writing reports and presenting data
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment practice (ideally Safer Recruitment trained)
  • The ability to build relationships at all levels
  • A flexible yet methodical approach, excellent organisational skills, willingness to step in and help colleagues, and an ability to communicate to all
