The St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join our friendly, hardworking team. 

Hours: 24 hours per week over 52 weeks per year, flexibility is available over working days and contract type which will affect part time equivalent salary. 

Full time equivalent salary: SRS Band 5 (scale points 22-24). Salary range £27,514 - £29,174 per annum plus a recruitment and retention allowance of £2,000 for one year (actual salary range in year one £29,514 - £31,174). 

Part time, actual salary: SRS Band 5 (scale points 22-24). Salary range £17,847 - £18,924 per annum plus a recruitment and retention allowance of £2,000 for one year (actual salary range in year one £19,144 - £20,221 per annum). 

The Role 

You will be involved in all aspects of HR, providing a timely and proactive, customer focused HR service to Head Teachers and other senior leaders within Schools. You will partner Academies and central team functions building effective working relationships and enabling the achievement of the school improvement plans through HR practices and processes, in line with the values and ethos of the Trust. 

The Individual 

You will be CIPD qualified with proven experience within an HR function, managing casework effectively, ideally within an education setting. You will have demonstrable experience of HR and recruitment and selection procedures. 

You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a sensitive approach to confidential matters, coupled with strong ICT skills. Whilst being a Catholic is not a requirement for this role, you must be willing to support the Catholic life and ethos in our academies.
