Ashton Sixth Form College is the founding organisation of Stamford Park Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust established in February 2019. All members of staff at Ashton Sixth Form College are employed by Stamford Park Trust.
The College is in the top 10% in the country for student progress on vocational courses and the top 25% in the country for A Level value added. The college achieved an "Outstanding" rating in its last Ofsted inspection in January 2020. The college has been recognised as one of the top ten Sixth Form Colleges in the north-west and is a major provider of quality academic and vocational post 16 education. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join Stamford Park Trust.
This is a new role arising from the expansion of SPT and will be working as part of the wider SPT HR Team. The role will primarily be based across Longdendale High School and Rayner Stevens High School - but will also work at Ashton Sixth Form College as and when required.
Acting as a first point of contact for HR enquiries for the high schools, the HR Advisor will signpost managers to appropriate operational HR Policies and procedures and provide best practice and professional advice and support on a broad range of routine employee relations matters. Individuals in this role are able to resolve day to day problems independently and demonstrate and develop professional practice excellence to meet the changing demands of the role and as part of a team.

Stamford Park Trust is a multi-academy trust created in February 2019. Our aim is to create a collaborative partnership with a range of local and regional educational providers in order to share expertise across our members and to develop innovative approaches to teaching and learning which can be shared to the benefit of all.
