HR Advisor – TUPE (Fixed Term)
£26,991 – £33,211 per annum
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
This post is fixed term until February 2022 initially, with the potential to extend pending further merger funding.
Do you have experience and expertise in supporting large scale TUPEs from an HR perspective? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Chichester College Group is entering into merger plans with the GB Met College Group and we are looking for an experienced HR professional to join the team on a temporary basis to support the merger, expected to take place in August 2022. Initially, the work involves carrying out detailed due diligence work and helping with the preparation of workforce plans to meet key milestones on the project. Working as part of a wider team, with full project management support, you will be asked to prepare reports and other documents as the project progresses. In the latter stages of the assignment, you will be planning for and supporting the formal TUPE consultation.
The role will be based in Chichester, but it is likely to involve both some working from home and visits to other campuses as the need arises.
We are seeking an experienced HR professional, with CIPD qualifications to level 5 as a minimum and with experience of working on TUPE transfers, ideally of significant scale. You will be able to work on your own and using your own initiative, and you will also have well developed social skills, which enable you to form good quality relationships with people. You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail and excellent written skills, to draft wide-ranging reports. Ideally with a driving license or able to access public transport, you will be able to travel to other campuses on a regular basis.
You will be part of a friendly and welcoming HR team, and be a part of an exciting project at a key stage in our history. We are offering a competitive salary, membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme and the equivalent of 27 days holiday, pro rata. We are also open to a discussion with candidates about flexible working hours to suit the needs of individuals.
Closing date: 19 October 2021
Interview date: 4 November 2021
All posts are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, which may include a check of the barred lists and any relevant overseas checks.
As users of the disability confident scheme, we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role.
We are an equal opportunities employer.
