We are seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated and committed individual to the role of HR & Payroll Assistant. This role is full time, term time plus staff development days and 10 additional days, and is being offered on a permanent basis.
You will be providing an efficient and high-quality payroll and HR administrative support service to ensure the effective HR delivery across the Academy Trust. You will lead on the administration of payroll for submission to the third-party provider and will also lead on all administrative processes in connection with Teachers’ Pensions and the Local Government Pension Scheme. Coupled with this, you will provide wide-ranging administrative support to the HR function.
To be successful in this role, you will be organised, confident and have an ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality. You will need to be able to deal sensitively with employees, have acute attention to detail and be able to work on own initiative. You must have demonstrable experience in a busy administrative role, and whilst training will be available, you will already possess an understanding of some HR or payroll processes.

If successful, you will join our academy and trust wide supportive learning environment, characterised by open management, with the knowledge that you will enjoy the full support and care of our pragmatic (and down-to-earth) leadership team. We have a dynamic, innovative team of professional staff who want to make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.
