HR Assistant | For September 2021

Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations, encouraging our students to be aspirational with their learning and to enjoy all aspects of school life. We are looking to appoint a conscientious and adaptable HR Assistant, to join our small and busy HR team from 1 September 2021.

Working with the HR Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of admin tasks to support the employee life cycle. This starts from recruitment advertising and the assessment process, new staff on boarding, including all legislative checks, a warm welcome and induction and on-going support whilst new employees settle into Tolworth life. Day to day you will keep on top of logging and reporting, writing letters, emails and enquires.

Our ideal candidate will be highly organised with great attention to detail. Essentially, you will have up to date knowledge of all Microsoft packages and be comfortable using website portals. You will be trustworthy, completely confidential and a smartly presented team player. Our ideal candidate may have started HR studies or be looking to in the future. 

This post is part-time permanent, working 15 hours per week, 5 hours per day, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with flexibility at busy times of recruitment in particular. This post is term time only with no holiday work required. 

This post is paid on the support staff pay scale, full time equivalent salary is £20,286.00. Therefore, for part-time 15 hours per week, term time only, the actual salary is £7,347.00. You will be paid in 12 equal instalments across the year.
