- Are you an organised individual, with good attention to detail?
- Do you have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills?
If you can answer yes to these questions, we would love to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive HR team, providing the successful candidate with the skills to develop their HR career.
There is never a quiet moment in HR so this role will suit somebody who thrives in a busy team-working environment. You will be the first point of contact and will need to assess the nature of the query in order to signpost or appropriately escalate the query.
To be successful in the role you will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals. The ability to work as part of a team and work independently is essential, as is high attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of HR records and documentation.
This is a rewarding and developing role, but you will need to enjoy a fast-paced challenge at a time of change for our team. The Trust will offer extensive training on any external database systems, but would expect the successful candidate to have significant experience of utilising Google and Microsoft office, particularly Word/Excel, Google docs/Google Sheets.
The HR Assistant is expected to work across all 3 sites and therefore travelling will be required.
The Prospect Trust
The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.
The Trust has already created a number of centralised functions to support the delivery of outstanding education, including HR, Finance & Payroll, Estates & Facilities and Careers Guidance. This is an exciting time for either an experienced HR Assistant, someone who is looking for a short term placement or an individual seeking to embark upon a HR career to join our team, as we will support the successful post holder to understand the processes that apply across Trust academies, along with the nuances of providing HR support and advice in the education sector.
You will need to hold a full driving licence as movement between the sites is an essential criteria for this role.
