Job Summary: A detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to support a global salary band project within our organisation. Reporting directly to the Compensation and Rewards Manager for Europe, this role is responsible for data management, analysis, and upkeep, focusing on ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely information to support compensation and rewards initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Keep all compensation-related data current in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or other relevant platforms, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to aid in the creation and application of global salary bands, compensation structures, and reward systems.
  • Data Reporting: Produce regular and ad hoc reports on salary bands, compensation trends, and other related topics to support HR leadership and business stakeholders in decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR team members, including the Compensation and Rewards Manager, to gather necessary data and ensure consistent application of compensation policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all data is accurate, up-to-date, and meets internal quality standards. Develop processes to detect and correct data discrepancies or errors.
  • Support Compensation Initiatives: Assist the Compensation and Rewards Manager in designing and implementing compensation programs, such as salary reviews, merit increases, bonus plans, and other rewards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations, supporting audits and inspections as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data collection, management, and analysis processes, propose best practices, and implement new procedures where appropriate.

 

Qualifications/Skills:

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certifications (like SHRM or CIPD) are a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in HR data analysis, compensation, or a similar field. Prior experience with global or regional compensation projects is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or other database management software. Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyse large datasets and extract valuable insights. Strong problem-solving capabilities are required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detail in data management and reporting.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage in cross-functional projects effectively.
