Acorn Care and Education, now part of the National Fostering Agency Group, is a leading provider of specialist living and learning services for vulnerable children and young people.  

We have dedicated colleagues who care passionately and are committed to creating better lives for the children and young people in our care. Due to continued growth we now have an opportunity for a HR Manager to join our team.

About the Role

As HR Manager for Education, you will provide HR support and guidance to our schools nationwide.

In this generalist role you will support the roll out of business initiatives, supporting organisational change, delivering training and providing professional advice to managers on HR policies and procedures. create annual people plans that proactively support the successful achievement of business objectives. Working as a key member of the HR function you will help drive improved people initiatives including attraction, retention, attendance, capability, performance management and engagement.

You will work closely with the Senior HRBP, ER Manager, HR Shared Services, Recruitment and other HR Business Partners to share best practice and deliver outstanding HR Services that enable change and further growth.

Based out of our Bolton office with UK travel to sites approximately three days per week.

You will be used to working in a multi-site environment and will enjoy meeting varied requirements whilst driving the objectives of your HR team & colleagues.
