Job overview

HR Manager

As a highly regarded centre for A Levels, Vocational and Higher Education qualifications, Holy Cross College has a long tradition of success. Since 1878, when the Daughters of the Cross of Liège first settled a school on this site, we have been offering excellence in education with a clear mission in mind: to develop our students intellectually to achieve outstanding results, and to develop them spiritually and morally so that they can become valued and valuable citizens in an ever-changing world. Being an inclusive Catholic sixth form college which welcomes students and staff of all faiths, this mission is at the heart of all we do.

We have an incredibly dedicated, caring and expert staff who are highly experienced in preparing students not only for exams but also for their next steps in life, whatever they may be. As a college with a strong academic reputation, our students achieve highly.

We are seeking to appoint a confident and experienced HR Manager to lead, manage and develop the Human Resources provision. Reporting the Deputy Principal, the post holder would be responsible for the operational HR activities as well as contributing to and supporting the strategic objectives. The role is offered on a full-time/full year basis and is to commence in circa. July 2021 (or as soon as possible thereafter).

If you relish innovation and excellence in supporting learning, allied to a sense of community, then we would love to hear from you. We welcome applications from all those who could enthusiastically support this vision and ethos.

Further details and an application form are available from the College website: https://www.holycross.ac.uk/information/job-vacancies/

Closing Date:   8 a.m. on 31st May 2021. Interviews will take place shortly after the closing date.

Holy Cross College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
