As Herts & Essex Multi-Academy Trust expands, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a generalist HR Manager to lead and manage the Trust’s human resources’ function. We would like the successful candidate to take up the post as soon as possible. 

Based at Herts & Essex and reporting to the Executive Headteacher, the postholder will manage all HR processes including the development of HEMAT’s human resources strategy, recruitment, performance appraisal and the management of employee relations and policies. 

(S)he will be the first point of contact for HR queries and will provide advice and guidance to school leaders.

What we are looking for 

We are looking for someone with an appropriate HR qualification as well as HR experience, together with excellent administrative and communication skills. The successful applicant, as a member of the Trust’s Senior Leadership Team, will be required to take on a further whole-school responsibility. This will be agreed in consultation with the Executive Headteacher.
