We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our Multi Academy Trust central HR team as a HR Manager.  The successful applicant will be based at the Nova Education Trust offices at the University of Nottingham Innovation Park and will be required to provide support to all the schools in our trust. 

The focus of this new post is to provide an effective HR service to schools within the Nova Education Trust (Nova).  The successful candidate will develop an effective relationship with Heads of School and School Business Managers across our trust. The post holder will need to have strong knowledge and experience as an HR generalist as you will be responsible for advising and supporting senior leaders on policy and procedure. This will be a varied role and you will be required to manage a variety of casework including disciplinary, capability, sickness absence, restructures and redundancies.

The HR Manager will work within a small team of HR professionals and continually strive to improve systems and processes to ensure Nova is an employer of choice.

To be successful, you will have:

· Associate membership of the CIPD Level 5-7 qualification;

· Practical experience in a general HR environment; and

· Have up to date working knowledge of employment law.
