We are looking to appoint a HR Manager to take the lead on HR Management within Stoke Damerel Community College whilst being fully supported and developed by the Trust HR Shared Services Team.  The HR Manager will support the work of the Trust HR Shared Services Team, by providing an effective and efficient HR function that is delivered to Stoke Damerel Community College, in accordance with Trust Policy and procedures.  The HR Manager will support the Headteacher with the management of the day-to-day HR operational matters and will be the first point of contact across the school managing, delegating, or escalating HR related issues as required.

Main duties and responsibilities

Ensure professional delivery of the day-to-day operations for the school of the HR provision which will include but is not limited to the processes involved in the following:

• Safer Recruitment and selection 

• Induction 

• Probation 

• Payroll and Pensions 

• Contract changes 

• Performance Management 

• Absence Management including sickness monitoring. 

• Populate and maintain HR Management and Payroll systems 

• Single Central Record 

• Maintaining the online employee staff benefits systems

• Act as first line manager for the HR administrator
