Job Title: HR Manager (maternity cover)
Grade: K (£18.35 - £19.31 per hour)
Hours: 32 hours per week, either over 4 or 5 days a week, term time plus 3 weeks.
Reports to: Headteacher
Job Purpose:
- To support the strategic direction of the Senior Leadership Team for staff development within the College.
- To advise the Senior Leader Group and Governing Body, on all matters of relevant HR Policies,
- Administration and Employment Law, preparing policies and procedures where necessary.
- To manage and lead all aspects of recruitment of staff.
- To provide a support function for college staff relating to any matters relating to their employment.
- To ensure accurate record keeping and administration to support the HR function within the College.
- Line manage the Cover Manager and oversee cover and absence.
We require a HR Manager to join our team for maternity cover from January 2023. This role requires a highly focused individual that is organised and passionate about making a difference in our school and for the local community. The post holder will deliver an outstanding Human Resources provision, ensuring a high level of service that supports all staff in providing outstanding learning and progress for our students.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to help shape and drive our approach to employee relations. You will have a substantial track record, ideally in the education field, of successfully developing and implementing HR strategies and practices with a focus on solutions development.
