We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR Officer to join our dedicated team and welcoming school community. The Marist School is a vibrant and ambitious Independent Catholic Day School for Girls with a strong commitment to academic excellence. In this key role, you will play a vital part in supporting the school's staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

·      Providing professional and confidential HR advice and guidance to staff on various matters, including contracts, policies, and procedures.

·      Managing the recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to shortlisting and interviewing candidates.

·      Overseeing the induction and onboarding of new staff members.

·      Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.

·      Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

·      Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders as required.


To be successful you will need to be highly organised and efficient with a strong attention to detail.  You will have the ability to build positive relationships with staff at all levels and be passionate about education. In return we can offer you a beautiful working environment, free lunches (during term time), employee support service, membership of the school gym and access to an extensive online professional development programme.
