Job overview

Ambitions Academies Trust (AAT) is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with a passion of providing outstanding education for all learners. We currently have 13 academies within the Trust made up of Primary, Secondary and Special Education throughout Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth. We are strongly committed to supporting colleagues in developing their careers further and offer excellent CPD opportunities in addition to developing aspiring teachers through our Ambitions Training school.

We currently have the following vacancy in our Trust Head Office at Evering Avenue, BH12 4JG.

HR Partner – Organisational Design & Development

Contract: Full-time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks

Salary: Grade 7, points 23 – 26 = £28,227 - £30,984

The Trust has already created several centralised functions to support the delivery of outstanding education, including HR, Finance and Estates. This is an exciting time for an experienced HR O D & D Partner to join our team and work in partnership with the senior leadership teams to improve performance and implement Trust people strategies and initiatives.

You will provide a full range of OD&D initiatives to build capability within the Trust on a wide range of activities, including but not limited to: Safeguarding & safer recruitment, workforce planning, recruitment & selection, employee relations, performance management, reward & recognition, staff development, health & wellbeing, change management, policy management, employee engagement, and equality & diversity.

You will report directly to the Deputy HR Director (OD&D) working closely with your colleagues within the HR team, Trust Senior Leadership team and Principals.  You will proactively drive a continuous improvement culture building people capacity and capability.

To be effective within the role you will need to be able to demonstrate extensive and proven experience of driving change and have extensive experience of engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders to improve people performance.

This is an exciting, rewarding and varied role, but you will need to enjoy a fast-paced challenge at a time of change for our team. Proven HR OD&D experience is essential and whilst a Level 7 CIPD qualification would be an advantage, the Trust would consider sponsoring the successful candidate to achieve or further their current qualification status.

Closing date for applications: 24th January 2022 at 9am

Interviews will take place: Either 1st or 2nd February 2022

Start Date: ASAP
