  • Independent, co-educational Christian School with 13 locations across NSW, delivering the NSW NESA curriculum to Years K to 12.
  • Course delivery includes face to face teaching from dedicated and experienced teachers on site, as well as via video conferencing with other campuses. This allows a broader range of elective subjects to be offered and provides enriching interaction with other students. 
  • This campus offers a dynamic learning atmosphere with commitment to academic excellence and individual development. The location, enables students to complement their studies by participating in a range of enriching activities over the city including educational excursions, charity support, sporting events, cross campus activity days and community service
  • The school has a rich co-curricular program of sport, music and community involvement.

About the Location:

Our client school is located in Sydney’s North West, New South Wales. The location is approximately 23 kilometres (14 miles) from Sydney Central Business District. There is a small shopping area featuring a post office, supermarket, fruit shop, liquor store, chicken shop, hairdressers, butcher, real estate, doctors' surgery, chemist and newsagency. The nearby suburb has a major shopping mall, trendy bars and global eateries serve young professionals and creative types. Families and tourists explore riverside cycle paths and historic colonial sites. The theatre presents mainstream drama and concerts. There are a range of public and private schools in the area and neighbouring suburbs. The location is adjacent to a major transport hub for Western Sydney, servicing trains and buses, as well as having a ferry wharf and a future light rail service. 

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Have the ability to teach HSIE across Years 7-12
  • Ability to teach Geography and History will be highly regarded
  • Be eligible to work in Australia (must have a visa)
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in education
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority
  • Be registered or be eligible for the New South Wales Working With Children Check registration 
  • Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
  • Must be respectful of the school values and ethos
  • Possess and provide appropriate professional reference details
