Job overview

We are looking to appoint a HR Advisor to support the delivery of a high quality, professional and forward thinking HR service; aligned to the evolving needs of the academies and central services of the Trust. 

FCAT is a large Multi Academy Trust committed to promoting excellence in teaching, learning and leadership. We have 10 academies locally with primary, secondary and all-through including: Aspire Academy, Unity Academy, Montgomery High School, Garstang Community Academy, Hambleton Primary Academy, Westcliff Primary Academy, Blackpool Gateway Academy, Mereside Primary School and Westminster Primary Academy. Our brand new all through school Armfield Academy opened in September 2018. 

Working as part of the HR advisory team and with the HR Lead you will provide expert advice to HR contacts, managers and senior leaders in employment legislation and human resource management policy and practice. You will have strong knowledge and successful experience of advising and supporting in recruitment, payroll, attendance management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, probationary, appraisal and organisational change.

You will have a critical role in supporting the HR Lead in continually developing human resource management within the Trust through staff training, development and engagement. You will support and deliver projects to enhance the HR service operation and outcomes.
