An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Assistant to work as part of our busy school office team.

The position could be combined with the School Office Administrator and offered as a full-time position for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who ideally has experience of working in an Human Resources role, preferably in a school. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for advertising vacancies, reviewing and collating applications, arranging interviews, carrying out the relevant pre-employment checks and maintaining the single central register.  The role will include carrying out secretarial and administrative duties relating to Human Resources matters including filing, photocopying and dealing with recruitment agencies.

A good understanding and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential for this role.

Upton House School is a independent co-educational preparatory school in Windsor, Berkshire. The school was first opened in 1936, and is located on a one acre site in the centre of Windsor. In 2008 the two-storey facility Little Upton was opened, containing pre-nursery and nursery rooms with access to an outdoor play area. There are approximately 295 students on the school roll. Upton House is denominationally Christian, and is a registered charity.
