Job overview
- Recruitment & Onboarding – Support the HR Manager with new staff recruitment, paperwork, and onboarding processes.
- Staff Care & Community – Plan and facilitate staff care initiatives, events and community-building activities that strengthen workplace morale.
- Housing & Relocation Support – Coordinate logistical and administrative support for staff housing, relocation, and transition needs.
- HR Administration – Maintain updated staff databases and assist the HR Manager with routine HR documentation and recordkeeping.
- Cross-Department Collaboration – Work with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordinated administrative support.
- Staff Relations – Serve as a primary contact for staff welfare, questions, and feedback, promoting a caring and responsive HR environment.
- Meet or exceed board-mandated qualifications (B2.2.1).
- Experience in administrative or HR support; bilingual work experience preferred.
- Strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through in documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Bilingual (English and Japanese) required.
