Bideford College are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated Key Stage 3-4 Humanities and PE teacher.

The role will involve teaching the full range of ability at Key Stage 3 and 4 Geography with the potential for other Humanities subjects, alongside some PE.  The capability to teach confidently and with flair from Year 7 to Year 11 Geography and PE is essential.

Good knowledge and understanding of Key Stage 3 for the Humanities subjects, especially Geography, and their delivery would be an advantage.  At Key Stage 4, the successful candidate would specialise in Geography.

Main pay range 1 to Upper pay range 3, £25,714 to £41,604 per year.

0.8 – 1.0 fte, permanent position to commence September 2022.

Bideford College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Bideford, Devon. In March 2016, the school opened as a new academy sponsored by Launceston College Multi Academy Trust. Children can attend off-site education at North Devon Personalised Learning Service and through the Medical Tuition Service.

A larger than average secondary school, Bideford College provides 1,744 places for students between the ages of 11 and 18 when fully subscribed.
