Are you an Instructor committed to improving the lives of children and young people?


We are looking for an experienced Humanities Instructor to join our fantastic team at Glebedale School in Stoke-on-Trent. As a Humanities Instructor, you will deliver fun based learning to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.


This is a great opportunity for a Humanities Instructor who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, working with individual and small groups of pupils in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

We are looking for a Humanities Instructor, experienced in a range of subjects which could include Food Technology, Art, Crafts, Horticulture, PE & Games and any other practical based activities that could engage and motivate students. You will work closely with our Teachers, helping deliver our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.


Already experienced in an SEN/ASC environment, you will be forward thinking, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by supporting families and helping every child to reach their potential.

Glebedale School is a co-educational day School, which helps educate and support Children aged between 5-19 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and additional complex behaviours. Glebedale School is linked with 14 Residential residential homes and is located in Stoke On Trent. This site is OFSTED rated 'Good'.


For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
