Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Humanities Teacher
The successful candidate will:
· Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
· Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
· To lead and advice students accordingly to their key stage projects in the subject area of Humanities
· Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Our ideal candidate will have:
· A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
· At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
· QTS/QTLS is advantageous

Welcome to North Bridge Enterprise College. Since our opening in 2013, we have dedicated ourselves to providing a safe and nurturing educational environment for pupils who have faced, or are at risk of, permanent exclusion from mainstream education due to challenging behaviours. Our mission is to re-engage students in their learning, with a strong focus on preparing them for post-16 opportunities.

Pupils
We cater to pupils aged 14-16 years, both male and female, who are at risk of or have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools. The reasons for exclusion can vary, but they often stem from challenging behaviours that we are equipped to address.
Areas of Expertise
Our fully qualified and experienced staff bring a diverse range of subject specialisms and training to our college. We offer vocational courses in areas such as Food Technology, Media, and Uniformed Services, and we are continually expanding our curriculum to align with the interests and needs of our pupils. At North Bridge Enterprise College, we are dedicated to providing a holistic educational experience that supports the growth and development of every student.

At North Bridge Enterprise College, we are proud to work with young people who benefit from a personalised, supportive, and bespoke educational experience. Every learner who joins us brings unique strengths, aspirations, and potential, and it is our privilege to help them rediscover a sense of belonging, purpose, and success.
While our new specialist premises are being developed, we are currently based at the Eco Power Stadium. We provide a safe and nurturing learning environment designed to re-engage students in their education. We are committed to offering opportunities both in and beyond the traditional classroom.
We hold high expectations for all our young people. With the right environment, relationships, and support, we know every learner can thrive. Our goal is clear: to equip our young people with the skills, confidence, and qualifications they need to make the greatest possible life choices post-16.
