Bordesley Green Girls’ School and Sixth Form is a high achieving, oversubscribed girls’ community school on the eastern side of the City of Birmingham.   We are an inclusive, multi-cultural comprehensive school with a four form entry, 1,000 students of 11- 18 years on roll including 360 in the Sixth Form.

The Governing Body is currently looking to appoint an inspirational role model who can teach engaging lessons across the subjects of Geography and Religious Education to KS3 and KS4 students.

The successful candidate will be fully committed to raising the expectations of students, curriculum innovation and deploying a wide range of teaching strategies to ensure that every student achieves their full potential.

You will join a supportive and successful department with a reputation of strong results and one that ensures creative and innovative teaching and learning in all lessons.  

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding practitioner  with vision, tenacity, optimism, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to inspire students in a progressive and dynamic school. Experience of teaching A Level Geography or RE would be advantageous, however is not essential.
