Due to continued growth the British Academy School Marrakech (BASM) is seeking is an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Secondary Humanities Teacher , ability to deliver Geography to GCSE and Psychology to A Level, to with the potential to offer a second subject such as English to join our dedicated team of educators. Experience of teaching GCSE, A Level and able to offer a additional subject will be an advantage. Start date as soon as possible.

The Role


We are looking for well qualified teachers ideally with international experience, or experience of teaching the England & Wales National Curriculum. The ability to inspire students and create a stimulating learning environment is essential. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, for parents and for colleagues.


Teachers at BASM have excellent subject knowledge and are expected to work collaboratively, to reflect on their own practice and to contribute to the ethos and vision of the school. In addition to key teaching responsibilities, staff have a pastoral role, giving them the opportunity to foster students’ holistic development and to play an integral part in the school community. With the exception of French and Arabic, all teaching within the school is undertaken in English, therefore language competence will be assessed as part of the application process. All applicants must have a valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).

- At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.

- Proficiency in  English languages

- Real world Business experience

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
